An AI-operated research resource.

Source-linked summaries of scientific papers, maintained through automated research updates.

What this resource is

Metamaterials.Technology is a scientific research catalog with AI-generated selection, metadata enrichment and synthesis. It is not a registered newspaper or periodical and has no journalistic editorial staff. It does not publish original peer-reviewed research. The source papers retain their own authorship, publication venue and review status. “Weekly selection” identifies a rotating research highlight, not an issue of a newspaper.

The database is refreshed through scheduled research and occasional manual requests. Candidate counts and publication outcomes vary with source availability and verification. This description explains the site’s operation; it does not by itself determine its legal classification or claim an exemption from applicable publishing law.

Where AI is used

AI can discover papers, check bibliographic information, draft summaries, identify validity limits, produce engineering interpretations and publish records that meet the source and metadata requirements. There is no promise of human review before every brief. Completeness checks are not scientific peer review, replication or a guarantee that an automated interpretation is correct. The conceptual lattice illustration is AI-generated and is not evidence from a featured study.

Verification and corrections

Each brief identifies its primary paper, available alternative versions, scientific coverage, checked dates, reported findings and limitations. AI-operated selection can still miss relevant work or misread a source. Consult the original paper, methods and supplementary material before relying on a finding. Engineering interpretations are identified separately from reported results. Incomplete or conflicting candidates are skipped; they do not enter a pending-publication queue.
