What the study reports
The modeled reflective stack combines crossed elliptical resonators, graphene, MoS₂, a silica spacer and gold backing. It supports two linear-polarization conversion bands and a separate linear-to-circular band. Simulated resonance shifts provide refractive-index sensitivity over n = 1.33–1.49. [1]
What this does not establish
This is a numerical proposal, not a fabricated biosensor. The peer-reviewed accepted early article remains subject to editing. Abstract-level index sensitivity does not establish biomolecule specificity, clinical detection accuracy or performance in lossy biological samples.
Our engineering reading
Our interpretation is that electrical tuning and polarization conversion provide useful design variables; experimentally calibrated analyte response remains essential.
